David draws on an extensive background in venture capital and financial operations to advise the Castile team on all aspects of fund and portfolio management. As Castile’s COO, he oversaw fund formation and developed the firm’s financial infrastructure.

Before joining Castile, David was a managing director of the Volpe Brown Whelan investment bank where he co-founded and managed Volpe Brown Whelan Asset Management, LLC and its highly-successful venture affiliate, Bedrock Capital Partners. Previously, David was CFO/Partner of Highland Capital Partners.

David has also spent more than 15 years in financial and operations management culminating at MED-TAC Corporation where he was executive vice president with responsibility for more than $100 million in annual gross receipts and approximately 80 employees.

David holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley College and an MBA from Babson College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Executives Institute.
