Roger draws on a strong track record as a senior executive, product management and marketing professional, carrier operations leader, strategy consultant and venture capitalist to boost the financial performance and sales success of technology businesses. He served as a vice president of Fuze (formerly ThinkingPhones) following its acquisition of Whaleback Managed Services and participated on the board of VGo Communications (acquired by Vecna), Neah Power (OTC BB: NPWS), Quantiva (acquired by NetScout), Sandbridge Technologies (acquired by an undisclosed public company) and Stargus (acquired by C-COR).
Prior to joining Castile, Roger advised solution vendors and service providers on market, product/service, and partnership strategies. He also researched and authored several reports for IT analyst Ovum on information services markets, developed forecasting models and scenarios for emerging segments, and wrote about a broad range of technologies. Previously, Roger led marketing at Netlink, and helped craft the strategic roadmap guiding its successful acquisition by Cabletron, where he was subsequently responsible for carrier marketing initiatives. Prior to Netlink, Roger was a senior executive at Motorola and Octocom Systems, where he was responsible for marketing a wide range of networking products.
Roger holds an MA in Mathematics from Oxford University.
